Short-ish decant, could have used more air. Aromas of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cherries, minerals, flowers, damp earth, and an interesting campfire note pour of the glass at first, though with air they settle down. Not a huge note really, but quite plush. Blackberries, cassis, tart cherries, plums, graphite, minerals, earth, and incense on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity, grippy tannins, long-ish finish. Full bodied. So much earth and minerals and incense on the finish, you want to just keep drinking. Really interesting and delicious. Dang, I guess I'm shopping for another bottle.

Slow ox for 10 hours, then a double decant into a flat bottom decanter. This is so fragrant it smacks you in the face with delicious, classic BDX aromas. You can immediately tell this is a seriously good wine. Nicely balanced between acid, fruit, alcohol, and tannin. A delicious wine that I will definitely start enjoying now, and into the next 10 to 15 years, but definitely needs a decant. A fantastic wine and a joy to drink.
