Still doing great. Surprisingly dark in color. I guess this has a remaining life of 3-8 years (only when coming from perfect cellar conditions on the rather cold side as in my cellar). Even stood the test to accompany a main dish (grilled meat).

Quite herbal, with sharp red berries, cedar, leaf and tobacco notes, the wine is medium bodied, bright, crisp and short. Longer aging will not help. Drink up.

Shock horror, a 75 that is quite tannic!! Seems to be the story of the vintage. This had a better colour than the 71 cheval, and a very seductive nose of red fruits, smoke and a touch of cigar, but on the palate it was disappointing. It's still tannic and hard and it did not open up at all. There is still fruit in the background, but I doubt it will outlast the tannin. Drink up with some pieces of meat from the bbq

Supple, but lacked a little something that would push it to regal heights

Chateau L'Eglise-Clinet Vertical (Bentley Hotel, London): Corked, a shame as there was some fine fruit on the nose behind the stink.
