  Strawberry, raspberry, cloves, hints of leather; elegant, though showing notable age and maturity; fruit is mostly faded; good presence and also a sense of stateliness, but may have begun decline

  From Mag, perfect cork, muted nose and a bit closed after opening, decanted for 30min which allowe the wine to open-up. Great Pomerol nose and nice tertiary aromas, great pleasure now but will definitely keep for another couple of years.

  Medium garnet color with a brick colored rim.
  
  Decanted for an hour-and-a-half before serving at 60F.
  
  Medium intense nose of tobacco, sweet cedar, menthol, mint, old dusty closet, hint of cassis, iron/blood, soy sauce.
  
  On the palate cassis, sour cherry, menthol, cedar, blood and a hint of dark chocolate. Although restrained, it’s got plenty of depth and complexity.
  
  Medium alcohol, medium body, medium acidity. Medium fine tannins that dries your tongue but it has a round mouthfeel. Good length to the finish. It’s a wine which begs you to keep going back to to pick up different notes.

  8th of 12, opened 3 hours, decanted one, perfect cork and level, back on top form, bigger and more harmonious, rich and velvety, very long and persistent, more a point than HB 96 on same night, vigour of early maturity, good for 10 if not 20 years. VF (18.5).
