Lunch at Come-Into Chiuchow Restaurant with Louis: Tough to distinguish this and the Domprobst from the same vintage but I am going to try anyway. Both had good development but the citrus fruit on this was less overt, overall a more linear and taut wine whereas the Domprobst was fuller and creamier. Both were very enjoyable and textbook German Rieslings.

Charming and straightforward, lean. Drinking very nicely.

Steely acid, trademark Willi charm, aged riesling notes (but no where near decline). While delicious, I find this vintage fairly lean and austere.

Day 3 in the Mosel - Schaefer/Selbach-Oster/Prum (Mosel Saar Ruwer - Germany): Bits of mango, pineapple, and peach. Palate is lush with medium acidity. Certainly young, but I didn’t find this overly complex. Would love to chug a bottle at the beach.
