Wine Cellar & Al Fresco Dinner Party (La Jolla, CA): Purchased upon release and cellared under ideal conditions, this medium golden Meursault continues to flaunt citrus, pit fruits, coriander and wet stones on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 13%), it stays dense in the middle, shows no evidence of premature oxidation and finishes long. Those holding well-cellared bottles will find them to be most enjoyable over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2023.

Medium golden-yellow with a slight copper hue. Wine needs some air to open up and fully express itself. Green apple, lime peel and nutmeg spiced pear provide a lovely opening salvo with white peach, vanilla and honey giving the wine a lovely depth. Hazelnut gives a nice nuttiness to the wine while hints of white pepper provide some extra spice. Flint is there to reassure you that you are indeed drinking a Burgundian wine. A lively acidity shows that this wine still has a long life ahead of it. Finish is a little short. Overall a great wine.

Now medium golden in color, this Meursault continues to flaunt tangerine, mineral, peach and coriander on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, fresh and without any heat from its listed 13% alcohol, it is dense in the middle and finishes with impressive length. This well-cellared Girardin white Burgundy is holding up beautifully, with absolutely no evidence of premature oxidation. Comparably cellared bottles should show nicely over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2022.

Per me è ancora troppo giovane. Godibile ora, ma darà grandi soddisfazioni a chi lo saprà aspettare
