Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 90.2 points

  • It was 3 years ago I drank this last time. The years has been good to the wine. More concentrated, better integrated acidity. A little too much oak for my taste, but still a fantastic powerful and full bodied wine. Pears, almond and some tropical fruit. A nice acidity and chalkiness at the end which balance the oakiness very well. I would recommend large glass (I drank from Zalto Bourgogne) three years ago a gave this wine 98p I would say 90+ today and believe it could evolve for several more years. Potential 92p imo.

  • Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes & grapefruit with overtones of minerals & floral notes, stones, chalky & a hint of smoky/toasty oak notes in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth texture, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes & white grapefruit with minerals & a slight hint of oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the ripe fruit & structure to continue developing with additional aging.

  • Fantastisk färg. Hög syra. Doft av skumbanan. krutröksdoft. Citrus och viss smörighet. Behöver troligen vila ett par år för bästa upplevelse.Skulle gissa på att bästa drickdatum är 2023-2027
