  Still going strong....the acidity and fruit have integrated well, colour still pretty good, hint of browning maybe, but quite vibrant. Tannins all precipitated. If anything, a little better on day 2 with grilled Italian sausage, and pasta with bean& tomato sauce. Last bottle unfortunately, but this will keep going for a bit yet I think if stored well.

  On the gentle downslope now. The vibrancy of colour has faded.
  With Tuscan meatballs in tomato and chilli sauce first night. It was a little overwhelmed, but tasted good on its own. Acidity waning a bit, fruit still there to a degree.
  Second night with steak, the first glass was good, second and final glass fading noticeably. Drink up.

  Weekly tasting group RWP #344; Some random wines (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet, red and dark berries and a touch of oak. On the palate juicy red fruits, vanilla, ok acidity and tannin with still a good bite.
