Querciabella (Prince wine store): Butter, toast, stone fruit, slight lemon, wet stone pear, bees wax on the nose. In the mouth there is muted and slightly bitter with pear, spice, tangy, mid palate tannic grip. The pear fruit carries and introduces butter and toast here as well. Perhaps lacks a little freshness? Pleasant but again at $110 AUD I'd happily drive to Beechworth and visit Giaconda

Very nice wine, buttery with a smooth finish.

Smells like Burgundy, but just the oak and batonnage, not the other fine qualities. I could like it well enough if it didn't cost $80-90.
