Vanilla, menthe and sweet apples. Nice balance all the way until the long finish where there are some bitterness and acidity cutting off the final. Pleasant, interesting and a quite clear touch of finer tuscan chard. Drinks well now but Will prob age w grace

Initially I was really impressed as the wine managed to combine both the citrusy notes (the freshness part) with tropical fruits, melon, vanilla, toffee (the hedonistic part). With more air the wine turns heavier, more somber and oxidative (and less fresh) with the vanilla/toffee/melon part more dominant. However there is more acidity/structure and also more depth when compared to the Felton Bannockburn Chard tasted yesterday. Overall this is a very good effort that is quite Burgundian in nature and an excellent wine per se, just not exactly my cup of tea at the moment. 92-93.

A Tuscan ‘imitation’ of the grand cru’s of the Côte de Beaune with 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Blanc (which apparently can still be found in the Montrachet vineyards). Ripe, weighty, nutty but fresh enough with good acidity and long finish. Not sure if get the full resemblance but it’s a great wine on it’s own merits

"Very good" men behöver mer komplexitet för att komma upp i "Excellent". Ganska tunn midpalate och finishen är medel.
