  From magnum. An unusual spiciness to the nose. Almost distracting aromas of fresh sawdust and rosin come to the fore with faint darker spices in the background. Impossibly fresh for a wine this age. Palate has a subtle sweetness to it with pine-like aromas on the backend. Not my preferred style but I appreciated it for what it was, and Frederic's wife noted this was the wine they featured at their engagement party.
