Beautiful nose of baked black cherries, bay leaf and grilled rosemary and thyme switches! Medium bodied and lithe on the palate, this is mature and ready to drink! Excellent with baked salmon with a mustard glaze, this is also quite good on its own. 90

Terroir-istes International - USA-Oregon-Willamette Pinot Noir (Bishopscourt): (Tasted Blind): A light-red hue with an attractive bouquet showing fragrant fruit with red cherry. Intense wine, the body is lighter and ethereal with a refreshing and delicate lift. Fresh acidity with fine porcelain tannins this is a pure pinot example. No green notes as such but a little chewy on the finish but a lovely pretty wine.

It's official, this is aging well. Had it against a Bourgogne rouge and this is just as if not more Burgundian on the nose. Granted it was a couple of years older and the development was evident and welcomed. Love the way it smells. On the palate it was definitely riper and more fruit forward but the leather, forest floor and wet stones very present. Silky smooth on a palate of medium- tannins, medium acidity and medium- body. Finish is bright and of mid length. Very enjoyable bottle. I will age my next one for 2 more years to see where it goes.

Reticent nose; strawberry, black cherry on the palate; firm finish. Paired nicely with grilled tuna.
