  • Clear medium gold colour in the glass. Aroma is a little muted with subtle lemon, white flowers baking spice and some vanilla. With a bit more time the subtle oak elements come out. The palate takes this wine to the next level with a pleasurable oily mouthfeel and balanced lemon and peach fruit with oak all in harmony. The acidity and freshness is there and a long tail of minerals and cream but fairly dry in the end. Very happy.

  • Holy balls this is showing nicely. Almond paste, limestone minerals, and nutty vanilla sweetness with a sharp key lime cut. Maybe a touch advanced for 2014 but certainly not premoxed. Drink over the next 5. Better bottles may go a further distance. I would encourage anyone holding to check in now...

  • Not sure if this bottle is flawed. Not giving away much fruit or more than vinous chardonnay character. Some fruit component but very dry and leathery almost tart. Bitter and dry finish. Something went wrong here with the balance or the bottle is simply flawed
