Citrus, pear, after opening some barrel notes, which dissipate, well balanced between the rich fruit and the structure. Totally in the spot (from magnum).

We used large glasses to give it some air: beautiful white and yellow fruit, lemon, some oak, but not too much, very well balanced, drinking very well now, there is some upward potential (93).

Joseph Drouhin Dinner (Medlar (London)): Immediate drinking appeal here, having a lovely melting quality was noted by someone at the table, nice acidic tang on the peacock tail finish. A very convincing showing and would be my pick over the Corton 14 at this stage.

Had a bottle at a restaurant; first Clos des Mouches blanc for me; nose is lovely with ripe peach, pear, and red apple, a hint of candied lemon, subtle wood spice, floral notes, and a mineral note of crushed rock; the palate shows great balance and freshness with juicy acidity driving the ripe fruit flavors, very good depth with a long finish. This is definitely a killer wine and I will be looking to add this to the cellar soon!

Mainly pear, also citrus, good density and length, very well balanced, still on the younger side, drinking very well.
