By the glass. Bottle open the nite before. Brownish colour with garnet piping. Subtle aromas of flowers (something like carnations) but I feel somewhat artificial and also some sweet spices from wood. In the mouth it is equally direct. At this point of the match, I find neither harmony nor depth. It seems rather that each element played on its own. We will have to wait but I think it is very flat and without the essential sensations frome this terroir. We will still wait.

UGCB 2015 tasting (Amsterdam): In the bouquet smoky and toasty oak beside the black berry fruits. Overall a very tempting wine with lovely oak, a touch of pleasant sweetness and good acidity. For the second year there is 5% Petit Verdot in the wine. Beautiful wine! 92++

I agree with Panoskakaviatos - lots of oak, messy on the palate, pretty sweet and a bit confected. 85-87

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky / Café De Klepel): Tasting, brief note. Reminds me of the energy which I found in the 2010, ripe fruit and smoky oak, tannic but with a lovely generosity, a success in this vintage.
