  This was the mystery wine at the tasting. Fruit was quite intense. Lots of acid. Balanced. Much more approachable than the younger wines tasted.

  Classic Volnay although still drinking young. Fresh red fruits but could benefit from another 5 years of cellaring time.

  This is drinking well. No nose that I can discern . Great acidity, lovely red fruit / jammy flavours that give this wine good length. There is a freshness to this wine due to the acidity. A slight dryness from the tannins. Just starting to reveal its capabilities.
  Very enjoyable at this early stage. I believe this will soften and get fatter and more complex with time. A well made wine.
