Excellent, superb wine. Colour: deep red berries, dusty Bouquet: mint, red berries, blueberries, dark cherries, white pepper Palate: as bouquet, very savoury, dusty and dry, elegant balance of fruit, fine grained tannins and acid. Full bodied but a classic clean light footed Clare. Age undetectable, though it is developed and relies on balance rather than just fruit. June 2018

Langton's Classification Tasting (Carraigeworks, Sydney): Eucalyptus and spearmint with some blackcurrant fruit. Tannins are quite bold, so this requires time. Seems to be more in the "old" Wendouree style rather than the more recent approachable vintages.
