  No formal notes. But I really do like Barolo and this is a great version. Will easily keep years, but in this state, there's no reason not to drink now, it's in a great place now.

  (from memory) Deep ruby sliding toward deep garnet, perfumed nose of menthol, black cherry, black plum, Asian spice, with hints of stone, round sweet fruit, spice, fine tannins, balancing acidity and mocha on the palate, finishes with layers of red and dark berry fruit, green tea, minerality and lingering Asian spice
  
  Note: has enough acidity and stuffing to develop further, but to my taste, in an irresistible spot today, buying more as we speak
