Orange bricked rim, cherry, cinnamon, fig, and a little bit of vanilla on the nose. Great flavor profile that matches the nose, medium+ acidity, tannins have mostly integrated at this point, medium+ finish. Enjoyed with ribeyes.

Rich aromas of cherry cordial and fig paste. Full bodied and organized, but the fruit is a little bit overcooked. Lingering finish of figs and spice. Drink up.

Reddish brown in color. 14.5% ABV. Powerful nose of dark fruits, tar, menthol and flowers. Medium body with medium acidity. Mostly resolved tannins and enough fruit to keep things interesting. Dried cherries, toffee, anise and roasted herbs on the palate. Medium length on the finish. This wine was most certainly more compelling many years ago. Somewhat surprising as the '01 version of this wine was delightful as recent as last year. Drink up.

Very pruney and raisiny. Big wine, but so much it’s slightly out of balance.

Benefits from short decant. Initially pruny but transformed into a magical mix of menthol, earth, tar all in wonderful balance.
