One does not expect a Listrac to last 27 years, but this one has. Medium to deep color. Aged claret nose. Flavors are quite angular, typical of a Listrac. Herbal finish with still some tannins. I was gifted this bottle from a friend's cellar. If you're a fan of lean, aged Bordeaux, this will please.

Wiithout any fault and with far enough of everything you can expect from a € 18-wine. Ratings of 82 pts and below are arising from bottle- variations probably. I enjoyed it very much. 88 pts

Mid ruby to garnet. Still surprisingly rich. Holding well, though realistically it's probably towards the end of its plateau. Cedar and cigar box with a surprising richness of fruit and a satisfyingly dry finish. ***

Some unpleasant slightly foretaste on the top of the palate. Not sure what that is, but good aftertaste, not unpleasant lingering, but nothing special either. Just tastes old. Still drinkable, but fading.
