Light sparkling purple in the glass, with a subtle but compelling perfume nose, this is a nicely balanced, elegant wine that’s got it all, a touch hot on the finish maybe, finish is long and a little tannic with the slightest note of bitter berry. Solid now and will only get better with 3-5 years time.

First day terrible with coravin, wet and dust. Three days later open bottle, lack chambolle typical character instead jadot typical blackberry feeling. And the balance and structure last only 2 hours.

Pretty robust with dark berries, bruised plum, and oak on the nose that freshens up a bit on the palate which adds some lifted red fruit tones. Abundant velvety tannins linger through the finish.
Edit: this improved on day two…the nose seemed to lighten up to better match the palate. Better integration overall.

Fruit surprisingly fresh and vibrant considering both the vintage and the fact that it's a few years on. Bright red tones with juicy apples. Actually a bit too much of a juicy thirst-quencher considering what you expect to get out of a Fuees. Deeper in scent than taste. Usually this is a long ager, not sure whether or not this one has the stuffing though.

As soon as one pours a glass a beautiful scent like if black tea was combined with oranges and a flower of a specific sort like roses? Intriguing. It does have a beautiful texture, not silky yet but I’m thinking in time it will develop once the grip and acid mellow out. It does finish with more of that citrusy tea and pomegranate taste. Very happy to have a few left. I think my next one will be in about 5-6 years.
