Opened while cooking dinner. paired with grilled shrimp veggie salad. Nice weight, nose of citrus and green apples. Palate of citrus with some steely minerality, crisp and clean. Good before dinner but shined in the pairing tonight.

Excellent but definitely not your typical GC Chablis. If I’d tasted it blind I might well have pegged it much farther south (almost like a supercharged Macon). Very round tropical fruit flavors with good weight and a nice long finish. Drinking very well right now but it definitely has the stuffing to last much longer and may develop a bit more elegance. We had it at a seafood dinner and it was good throughout but with seared scallops it was downright otherworldly, causing my wife to emit embarrassing noises in a public setting.

Served blind in a tasting of 2016 white Burgundy, this was my favorite. Explosive and complex tropical notes, lychee, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit enveloped this monster with a finish lasting well over a minute. Is this Burgundy? I kept asking myself as I was tasting. I honestly thought I was tasting new world fruit bomb, but I was wrong. Just WOW! Not cheap at $103 CAD but I highly recommend to those who can afford it to put a few bottles away as I expect this to be enjoyable at age 20 and possibly beyond. Drink by 2040+.
