  • Not oxidized but getting on. Good amt of astringency that I perceived as excess tannin from wood. No pronounced mineral elements. Enjoyable but not impressive.

  • The wine was bright, medium yellow-golden in colour and offered lemon, green apple, wax, melted butter, some vanilla and chalk on the nose. On the palate the wine showed citrus, apple, some melon, almond and some vanilla was well as mineral notes, firestone and chalk, paired with a very mild spiciness, well-integrated medium-plus acidity, a creamy mouthfeel and very good length. The medium- to full-bodied, lush, ripe, almost tropical Chablis was very balanced and paired well with Sashimi. A very good Chablis.

  • The wine was bright medium yellow-golden in colour and offered a rather shy nose of citrus, apple, butter, almond, beeswax, mineral notes, chalk and firestone. On the palate the wine showed citrus, peach and red apple fruit flavours verging on the edge of tropical, joined by roasted nuts, almond and intense mineral notes including firestone, paired with a very mild spiciness, medium-plus well-integrated acidity, a good, rich mouthfeel and very good length. The medium- to full-bodied, very balanced wine kept improving with air. Its full, generous style was balanced by good acidity and great minerality making the wine seem almost lean. A very good Chablis.

  • Light golden. The bouquet is intially quite tight but opens up with air and time. Elegant fruit, but a bit thin. Some green notes of grass and herbs. Good citrus though, and a nice, stony minerality. Some emerging maturity. Waxy mouthfeel. Still fresh acids, but again quite thin fruit and more than average green stuff. Sharp notes of nettles. Once again the minerals come to the rescue and gives lift and life to the wine. Nice lemon-mineral finish, medium+ lenght. Overall, still quite a disapointment for a Grand Cru Chablis from a good year.
