Earthy violets, juicy blueberry and red berry compote, with touches of asian spice. Peppery and spiced in the mouth, with a super silky, smooth texture and melting finish. Top stuff.

Spicy notes of black cherry with a juicy and youthful finish and good balance overall. Has good potential to be even better in about 5-6 years but good to drink now before it shuts down.

PnP. ABV 14%. Mainly flowers and oaks on the nose with just a touch of dark soils. Yet to shutdown. Showing a combination of Vosne and NSG, some spices mixed with wet earth. Good acidity and fine-grained tannins, tannins almost invisible at the moment. Excellent balance with no hint of the relatively high alcohol. Nothing is forced here, everything is smooth and easy. Good potential for sure.

(watson 2016 tasting) my favourite wine tonight, nose showed purple plums and black berries with some soil and spices, great structure on the palate with very good grip on mid palate to the finish thanks to its strong layers, firm acidity, some tannin, and vibrant purple and darker fruits. It was very NSG and at the same time very Meo. I see great potential for the wines to evolve over years.

Domaine Méo-Camuzet Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 9, Visit 3) (Vosne-Romanée): Tasting at the domaine. Black and red cherry in equal proportion, with some red plum note alongside rich spice and perfume. So bright throughout with a long finish. A very successful vintage for this wine, 91-94 point potential.
