  Colour was nothing special, med- intensity garnet with some browning. The nose was really interesting: sous bois, tobacco, mushroom, iodine, leather, coffee, cedar and some red fruit. In the mouth it was low alcohol, good med- acidity. Much better than the 1983 and the 1993 tried earlier this year.

  From Magnum. Lovely nose of mature Bordeaux, earthy, traditional. The palate is too lean, not enough fruit for the structure.

  Un petit mercredi de novembre bien ordinaire et Hop je décide de me gâter et d'ouvrir un bordeaux 85 ! Bien content de l'avoir fait. Disque orangé, beau nez tout en finesse, cassis et terre humide, on est pas trop champignon sur ce vin mais plus terreux. En bouche c'est très fin, élégant, acidité moyenne, tannin fondu, il reste encore un très beau petit fruit rouge, de la terre humide, du cuir, c'est bien agréable. Bonne bouteille, Super beau maintenant. à boire

  Encore d'un très beau rouge rubis avec un disque tournant légèrement sur le orange brique. Au nez,la première observation ce décrit en un mot: Finesse. Sur des légères notes terrecières et de champignon, c'est surtout la fine odeur de cerise qui ce présente à notre nez. En bouche, c'est d'une telle fraicheur ! la cerise est bel et bien présente mais plus subtile. Tannins fondu, acidité à point. On prend le temps de bien déguster ce vin vieux de 31 ans. Il n'est peut-être plus dans son apogée, mais cella n'empêche pas qu'il est tout simplement délicieux et rafraichissant ! Il a bien tenu la route, Bravo !
