Vosne Romanee tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis): [Tasted blind] I called 1 cru on the north side of town. Medium intensity with cherry, red fruit, spices, some black fruit notes. Medium acidity, medium tannins, long finish. 93-94
100% destemmed, 30% new wood. From three lieu-dits within Echezeaux

[Blind tasted] I guessed it was a Northern Rhone Cote Rotie. Very young, mostly primary fruit and quite a bit of oak. Black berries, Black cherries, Plum, Vanilla. Long finish. Would have loved to see this with 10 more years of bottle age

For me this was a step up from the rest of the Vosne-Romanee tasting (see Thijs' note for a description).
