Mature and oxidized bouquet with vanilla. On the palate nuts, caramel, oak, bruised apple and ok acidity. Overall this bottle is too old by now. No score.

Light amber-gold color. Round and rich nose, pears with honey and cream. Rich palate, honeyed grapefruit, a bit floral, with great balancing acidity leading to a long citrus finish. This has just aged beautifully, fresh and mature at the same time.

This is just a great wine and great QPR. I have tasted several of the 2004's and now just about through a case of the 2006's. This wine ages very nicely, developing depth of flavors but always staying fresh. A steel at under $15. Will be buying additional vintages.
