  • Kraftig, relativ mørk gul farge, nesten mot gull.

Relativ intens lukt av godt modne gule frukter og litt smør.

Relativ kraftig også på smak. Ganske høy viskositet. Litt smøraktig/feit følelese i munnen. Ikke veldig mye syre. Interessant hvitvin med mye spennende smaker. Sitter allikevel igjen med følelsen av at denne er over sin topp.

  • Mid gold colour with deep green and lemon tinges. Distinct aromas of herb, skunk, boxwood, lime blossom and white flowers (aka Riesling-esque) with those oak nuances showing as ammoniac.
A crisp fresh acid entry with an edgy, slightly biting palate texture. Pronounced fruit of lime (over lemon), dried pear, panna cotta and mineral. A juicy mid-palate, linear in shape that retains freshness through to a lemon-verbena tang on the medium finish. As it opens, it reveals more Granny smith apples, some spice like Tabasco, and the gorgeous ripens in the mid-palate.

  • Interesting bouquet - citrus fruit with some flowery notes. Good weight on the palate with citrus and other fruit (melon?). Starting to show some maturity. Drink now.

  • First of two bottles. 2" cork in good condition. Honey gold in colour. Clear. Aromas of wax crayon, pear, crème brulee, caramel, candied banana, sugarcane. On the palate, lik-a-stix / fun dip, bitter citrus, salt -- not as sweet as it smells. Long finish, again bitter citrus and salt. M body, m+ / h- acidity, XD (2 g/L), alcohol a well-integrated 13%. A nice sipper but not the best pairing with jalepeno peppers. Drink now. With Rob Dykstra.
