A dry white dinner wine from a fine producer of Barsac. On nose: nettles, stony minerality and a ghost of gooseberry. On palate: all above flavour notes firing on all cylinders, with wet wool( in a good way) greenish pineapple, blanched almonds, sea salt, oak is evident, but not persistent....notes of quinine ( reminiscent of Ch.Carbonnieux blanc) on the clean finish. This wine has a civilized 12.5% alcohol, and plays well with oysters, shrimp and Dover sole. 100 % Sauv Blanc.....will buy again.

Great well made wine with lots of acidity and varietal character.
Not sure I understand the point of these 100% sauvignon blanc dry cuvees though. Nothing to suggest Bordeaux or the great terroir this wine comes from. Some semillon please!

Pale yellow colour. Nose is intense with notes of gooseberries, black currant leaves, newly mowed grass and some oak. Mouthfeel is rich, full bodied, aromatic, mineral with nice acidity and notes of gooseberries, black currant leaves, kiwi, lime, green apples and some wooden notes.
Fresh, well balanced white Bordeaux with 'zip', well defined with lots of character and a long finish. Quite atypical for a white Bordeaux with 100 % sauvignon blanc, but a great wine!

Fantastic Bordeaux Blanc! Robust, fruity (lots of pineapple), peppery, lively acidity! Great buy.
