Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity. There is very good balance and rounded tones of lanolin, creamed pears, waxy, peaches, and a touch of bleu cheese.
Overall: This was a really nice starter. The depth wasn't as good on the palate, but this was still a really good and mature alsatian riesling.

Rotating Dinner Series-2010 Oregon Pinot Noirs (Aquitaine, Chicago IL): Nose: This shows the depth and layering of maturity along with tones of lanolin, creamed pears, custard, waxy tones, and some peaches as well.

Rotating Dinner Series - 2010 Oregon Pinot Noir (Single Blind) (Aquitaine - Chicago, IL): Beautifully rich tropical fruits on the nose and palate. The fruit has this rustic tone to it from age with nice balance, and lingering acidity. I don't think I've drank too much older Alsatian riesling, so this was a real treat.
