  • did I open this up too early? At first the nose was heavy on barnyard - good things to come. Overtime the aromas softened to dusty blackberry, cherry and minerals. the color is not as deep as professionals described, instead very typical of french burgundy a lovely pure red. The taste at first was bit too dry - acidic - not enought fruit. 1 hour later, this was shining and showing lovely dark berry fruits perfectly balancedwith minerals with a subtle touch of funk, earth giving it a real sense of terroire. Mmmmm. Half bottle left for tonight - can't wait. Purchased at crossroads in nyc at the 30% of sale and only paid $26 a few months ago - a steal!
