Opened after flawed bottle of 96 NSG Les Richemones. Slightly fuller colour than previous bottles with fruit slightly more primary. Good mature savoury, meaty NSG flavours. Satisfying and good for what it is.

Bottle was too old and tainted. Bought it second hand and was not in my cellar for all those years. Knew it was a gamble when I bought it.

Nice for about 20 minutes, then the brettanomyces took over and it all went to crap. Unfortunate.

Sous-bois, earthy, meaty NSG. Good fruit, and acidity, took on weight in the glass. Mineral on the finish. Refreshing. Good vfm. ***
