20 years old and drinking like a charm. Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate was dark cherry, currants, red plums and hints of sage. The finish was moderate to long.

Iron, meat, and bret on the nose - very Nuits. Medium bodied, nicely ripe fruit - speaks of Burgundy. The finish is a bit short, with tannins providing the structure instead of acid - a bit incongruous for Burgundy. Overall, nicely mature, and will last as long as the tannins do (I admit I hope this only improves once the tannins subside, with the finish lengthening and the acidity coming more to the fore). Generally happy for the price, but not overwhelmingly so.

90-92+...Takes 15-20 mins. to open up. Very dirty and some poop on the nose (in a good way). Flavor is medium bodied with mouth coating balance. Spice, Earth + Red Fruit in a wonderful balance. This is mature, only 1-3 years probably left. Looking forward to my last bottle. Right now it's very enjoyable...AMM
Had under suction for 3 nights in the fridge. Wine has gotten better over that time. An even more balanced attack, mature fruit with polish and tannins that coat the palate. Burgundy + Rion both Rock! AMM

Enjoyable Red Burg. Still plenty of fruit for the age and village designation. Sour cherrys and tart rasberrys. Looking forward to the rest. AMM
