Fathers day dinner, this bottle was a bit tired, but it had stayed under the cottage all winter without phyisical effects. Dark mushroom flavors, completely resolved.

Fully mature, cant say NSG is my fav CdN but this is really a solid interesting bottle with a beef bourg/coq au vin, , orangy rim, the nose gives strong wet earth, star anise and hints of tar, the taste is dark beefy, plummy fruit, some acidity peeks through with a medium long finish, I like this a lot, and the 20 years wait was worth it. Tannins resolved. Drink it, but it does have 2-5 years. will not appeal to those who only drink sweet clean cherry cola wines.
