3 Winos and a Providore Trade tasting (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): This has a bit of a Musar nose; rocky minerality, a little volatility, wild ferment, funky, baked red and black fruit but without the Brett or oxidation. In the mouth it's much of a muchness to the nose, chewy, tight, tough tannins, baked fruit. Woof. I'd have to be in the right mood to play with this...

Well-made wine, dark fruit, integrated oak, great symmetry and balance. Lacks a bit of personality at this stage, but will most like evolve and gain complexity over the next 10–15 years. 94+

18042022 - blind tasting dinner at 33 Blue Room. This is intense but still at its infancy. Deep garnet with purplish hint with bright red- purple edges. Intense nose filled with dark fruit, plum, licorice, oak & bell peppers. Further ox brought out the vanilla and violet notes. Initially linear on the palate, the ox coaxed the initially firm tannins into much refined tannins with juicy textures of plum & licorice. Such an interesting Priorat & definitely plenty of potential if cellared further

A Spaniard with tons of style and elegance. Big, generous, complex, delicious, awesome. Simply a fantastic wine from a different, slightly more sophisticated vintage. Crazy good already, but this wine will probably become insanely good if cellared until 2030 (or even longer). Note: Vintage 2018 cuvée 45% Garnacha, 29% Cariñena, 16% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
