  • At this point, this wine is well past its prime, or it wasn't kept well at the wine shop (quite likely). Brick colored throughout, porty on the nose, definitely showing signs of oxidation. Metallic and raisiny on the palate.

  • Appearance: clear, medium garnet with pale rim.
    Nose: Clean. Medium intenishty and fully developed raspberry and cherry.
    Palate: Dry, medium low acidity, modest tannins, moderately low acidity, medium bodied, modest intensity black cherry, soft brambles..
    Modest lenght.
    Acceptable quality. At peak. Drink soon.

  • Gift to me from my brother-in-law during a family gathering. We snuck off to taste. This Sangiovese grape is sooooo smooth. It rolls off your tongue, plays off the back of your mouth and slides down your throat.

    This was in oak for 18+ months. It is young and lively and (again) smoooooth.
