  Herbaceous nose, but still reasonably shy. On the palate dried out, tannic, unblanced. Not much to say. Expected much more.

  This is a big notch up from the last btl. Maybe 5 months in blt helped? This seemed fresher, smother, more complex, and more elegant. Or, maybe there is blt variation? I think I really like Rosso DM.

  I like this but I think it needs some time to better express itself. Heavier thasn Il poggiones's but still very classic and interesting. Wait a year.

  (Tasted Blind): Light floral bouquet with mineral, tilled soil and again that dark chocolate. Touch of cherry and some oak.
  Alluring, youthful, graceful and vibrant wine with attractive fruits and more cherries to the mid-palate with that earthiness and mineral quality giving some interest. More medium-bodied, the wine is medium-long and very approachable.
