Penetrating whole cluster nose with stemmy notes, spices. Very good. Lots of fruit and dry extract on expansive palate. Straddles well power and freshness which looks a feature of the 2019 vintage for reds. Average complexity for now but likely upside with aging. I will keep remaining bottle for 5+ years. Bordering on if not outright inside good 1er Cru territory

Incredibly floral nose with notes of dark red fruit, crushed violets, spice and bay leaves. The palate is elegant, tart and spicy with notes of tart red fruit, florals, forest floor, pepper along with a charming and alluring mid-palate in texture.finishing spicy. This is way too young and a little more tart than what I remember from MSD from Dujac. luckily I have 2 other bottles.93 today but with plenty of up side.

Drank together 2019 Dujac MSD and Duroche Gevrey Le Clos. A nice contrast of two very successful but very different 2019s. The Dujac explodes with spices and some green from the whole clusters, while the Duroche is all pure purple-ish fruits. I loved the Duroche for drinking now, and lock up the Dujac for a decade.
