Wanted to try an early version of this before laying the rest down to mature. This is a pale limpid gold. Nose is brisk stone fruits, lemons, crunch and a dribble of honey. Honeyed notes, quite bracing and fine on first tasting. The acidity is racy and briny, it is young and brimming with youth and vigour and needs to throttle back and mature for a few years. However it does appear to be a fine Chardonnay, and as it warms in the glass the acidity eases and more of the fruit and depth comes through. A fine Chardonnay, and looking forward to revisiting in a couple of years.
