  • Disgorged February, 2023. 100% Cramant fruit, 2 grams. Yellow, tight bead. Faint honey and hay. Medium bodied. Although the attack is deceptively sweet, the mid-palate and finish are dry. More herbal than fruit flavors. Good acidity, fine moderately long, earthy finish, but the problem here is lack of intensity and impact.

  • Method: tasted at the domaine

Nose: butter croissant, cream, light baking spice; very expressive

Palate: buttered croissant, ripe pear, honey, hint of cream; long finish of butter croissant, chalk; dry; medium+ round body; medium strength very fine bubbles; medium+ acidity; low tannin

Overall thoughts: Great nose. Rich autolytic and malo notes, great vinous body and awesome bubbles. Great wine!
