Inviting medium gold in the glass. Pronounced nose of lemon, apricot, brioche, ginger, honey, and chalk. Medium+ acidity, fine creamy mousse, and medium+ mineral finish. Simply a benchmark Blanc de Blancs, with the fruit, yeastiness, and structure in perfect balance. Looking forward to it developing further complexity in a few years!

Lighter color. The nose shows aromas of toasted brioche, orchard fruits, minerals, flowers and a hint of sea spray. This is medium bodied on the palate with outstanding concentration and excellent class. The fairly long finish features laser like acidity and a saline mineral note.

Colore oro pallido; bolla estremamente fine e persistente.

C3. Drank with 1995 Tattinger Comte and it held its own. Very fresh. Only thing holding it back was a very strong wood (not age or oak) note on both nose and palate - almost as if it were chipped. This was a pronounced note in comparison to elegance of Tattinger but would like to try on its own and see if still so pronounced. Love these grower champagnes. Dinner at Guillaume’s.
