Lightish garnet red. Translucent at the edge no signs of age.
Dark fruits, more plum than sour cherry, mocha. Tannin discernible but not particularly prominent. Longish fruity sweet finish. In a good place so not sure that it needs much more time so will drink mine over the next couple of years

Fantastic wine, very drinkable now. Would benefit from another couple years in the bottle. I've had a few bottles of this now, but this will always be the wine I had with my groomsmen the day I got married and always be special to me.

Fuller, darker and richer than the Montebuoni, don't necessarily prefer this, but it is arguably much more serious, tannins are significant and are accompanied by beautiful spice and herbs as the ripe tangy fruit fades, lovely stuff, but it'll be far more interesting in a few years

Full body. Dark red fruit, cedar, Italian spices. First time having the 2019 and reminds me of 2016. In fine drinking shape right now but would benefit for another 3-7 years. Paired with a ribeye perfectly.

Walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Relatively light and well balanced food wine. Tannins polished. Mot much aroma though.
