This medium golden-colored wine has improved substantially since my last tasting 3/26/12. Wet stones, chalk, citrus peel and stone fruits adorn the nose and palate. With fresh acidity, well-integrated alcohol (listed as 12.5%) and a solid middle palate, it is impressive all the way to its medium-length, crisp finish. Time in the cellar has been helpful here. Drink now-2016.

This light yellow-gold wine shows a moderately intense bouquet of chalky citrus. Light-bodied on the palate, with good acidity and well-integrated alcohol. The flavors are citrus and mineral-dominated. The middle palate thins a bit but the resurrected finish is crisp and medium in length. While pleasant, there is nothing exceptional going on here. Drink now-12/13.

Served with a scallops dish at a fund-raising dinner. Really a good pairing. This wine was somewhat spare -- probably a bit past its peak. Nevertheless, a really good wine.

Tiny hint of oxidation. Fairly rich, lacking the usual snap of Chablis. A nice wine, not exciting.
