Mid yellow. A nose of wet chalk, moist yellow apple, squashed white flesh of Golden Delicious apples and some ripe pear.bA fresh, zippy acidity greets the attack, followed by fleshy apple pulp, like a slightly sweetened apple sauce. There is just a hint of malic green apple acid too. A very drinkable wine that isn't demanding or complex but very enjoyable. The finish is medium and as it opens shows a slightly evolved note.

Bright golden yellow, it has surprisingly mature nose of ginger, beeswax and stew apple. It also showing a maturing palate with slight oxidation, a little light on palate and unoaked, exhibit lanolin, honeyed, white ginger and spice. Restrained acidity building up to the medium finish. After some 2 hours it started to show some fruits on the nose as well as palate. Peach and green apple, restrained palate. So much different from an Aussie Chard that I just tasted yesterday, expressive and oak influence.

Tasty but far from profound - it was lacking in density but made up for it with freshness and pretty fruit. Not a wine to hold onto for too long but very pleasant.

A friend brought this to dinner last night at a wonderful french restaurant. The wine was light and refreshing. Excellent wine for the price.
