In my cellar since acquiring it in 2018, and just opened the first bottle, decanted thru a filter. Seemed to get better after being open 1-1.5 hrs, perhaps to a '91. Typical Bordeaux nose, but not very pronounced. Smooth on the palate with a medium length finish.

Quite tasty and nice albeit the vintage comes through, a bit one dimensional compared to stronger vintages, in any case one of my favourite chateaus in this price class.

I like Malescot a lot but this is unpleasantly vegetal, I wonder is it the vintage or the bottle.

a bit disappointing - may have been past its prime.
