  This wine never rose above its strength to show anything more interesting. Deeply extracted with a lasting finish, a bit overripe. Not much complexity on the nose. Holds up well to BBQ.

  Very nice tonight. P&P with minimal air except in my glass while it warmed up from the cellar. 3 more down there so I’m happy I saved them this long. May not get to that 95 rating but I will drink this quality and QPR every day. Smooth with minimal tannins and a long finish.

  Ranked 1st of 6 in the 2013 Napa Cab tasting. All 6 wines were rather similar, but this one stood out just a bit from the others, and its price of $35 made it even more popular. Provenance recently went out of business, but was bought on 11/1. Let's hope the new owners do as well as the previous. It would be a shame if the quality goes down and/or the price goes up.

  Pnp. Jammy, minimal detectable tannin brace, not much acid. Tasty with tonight’s steak. Medium finish. Not complex. Good qpr.

  This was quite balanced and solid, showing well at this age. Red fruit profile with nice acidity and persistence. Good value at about $35 before tax.
