Still drinking very well. Solid fruit flavors with some muted Rutherford dusty notes. Well resolved tannins on a medium long finish. Paired well with grilled marinated skirt steaks. Great QPR AT $32. Drink now, no upside to holding any longer.

After two days of being open, we revisited this last night and I can say that it is Napa wine, meaning that it is still worthy of the Napa name, but this wine disappointed me still. The wife also felt this was a little underwhelming.
Tannins were very grainy and there was so much sediment, we ended up straining it just so it didn't feel like we we needed to chew while drinking.
Decent fruit after 7 years from the vintage date and IMO, it is definitely on its way down in terms of its best years. I brought my first bottle (I didn't score) to a casual dinner at a friend's house a number of years back and vaguely remember it being a crowd pleaser and was consumed rather quickly.
Drink now.

PnP. Sediment on the side that it was laying on. Bright cherries, and raspberries with a hint of wood on the nose but otherwise not a lot going on in the olfactory organs. IMO, it is probably a bit past its peak but I can imagine this is still enjoyable to many a wine drinker out there. Soft tannins and easy to drink. Not much weight to the wine and felt a little thin. I would've pegged this as a grocery store 8-15 dollar wine and we all know those wines can move so there is a consumer for this kind of wine and believe me, I had no trouble putting this down for an evening buzz.
Had this before another coravin pull of the 18' Myriad George III and the wife and I saw a huge difference in quality but that is of course, not a fair comparison. If this is at $40 today, it is not worth it IMO.

Deep ruby color, with notes of blackberry, black currant, cocoa powder, earth, and classic Rutherford dust. Beautifully balanced and outstanding QPR. Will buy again.

Just sailing into its prime. A little earthy with nice dark red fruit and smooth tannins
