My second 2 bottles purchased last year with perfect provenance, and it is still at the top of its game. Tasting profile is as previous note. An excellent wine. 94+

Still in its perfect drinking window, I note with interest Burghound reckoned a decade ago that this could be drinking well for another 20 years. This was purchased recently with perfect provenance and I can only assume reviews stating over age was due to storage issues. It is rich with clean aromas of lemon and apple with a buttery richness in the mouth, but with good acidity on the palate and finish giving an excellent balance. Likewise the finish is deep and lengthy. Highly enjoyable.

Had 3 bottles of this over the past 6 months, all 3 were a huge disappointment, especially at this price point. all 3 were creamy in texture with warm butterscotch tones, but devoid of complexity and of modest length for a grand cru.

(Louis Jadot Corton Charlemagne) Stunning nose of minerals, earth, white flowers, toasty oak and lemon butter. Ripe, soft and delicate with perfect balance and a long, expansive finish. Incredibly elegant. So young.
