  Limited notes taken. Two hour decant. Garnet fading to a brick red outer edge. Black fruit, blackberries, blackcurrant, cassis, and black cherry on the nose. There's a slightly resinated red fruit characteristic on the palate with dried red flowers, dried herbs, liquorice, dill, and baked earth.

  Brambles, leather, oak and, after breathing for a couple of hours, hints of vanilla and toast. Medium bodied and very dry. Great acidity and good tannins give a long satisfying finish. Went well with roast lamb.

  Surprisingly nice, given the age. Still some nice fruit on both the nose and the palate. A little thin, but good.
