Lots of tertiary here and more generous up against the 2017. Got plenty of earth, ripe but dried cherry fruit, raspberries, spices, well resolved oak and touches of cocoa powder. The issue I have here is that 08 acid, just kinda jutting out a little too much for my comfort. Otherwise, a lovely pour

Just a killer bottle of wine. Tons of vosne spices, clear and precise fruit, velvet texture and plenty of structure. This was in a perfect spot for drinking with a ton of life ahead. Wish I could find more for the $150 I paid!!

Village Burgundy at 67PM (67 Pall Mall, London): 3/6. Lovely, aromatic nose, purple fruits, violets, spice. Medium bodied, elegant, ripe purple fruits, spice, touch of savour, lean ish with crisp acidity on the slightly firm, good length finish.

Tasted over 2 hrs and on day 2 -nearly semi-translucent med dark red mild bricking -hi-toned lifted black raspberry wet stone; expressive more red fruit on day 2 -med+ acidity, med/med- weight remnants of tart candied red-black fruits, med/med- tannins a bit dried out from the acidity; bright and lively with a powdered candy note -acidity a bit out of balance as it is reaching full maturity, reminiscent of many '96s; better on day 2 - maybe this is still on the way up

Dried rose petals with fresh and macerated strawberries. Good weignt, better length with a slightly perfumed, slight earthy, very finessed finish.
