  • Screw cap. Decanted and served.
Mid garnet, faint bricking only. Ethereal aromas of violets, dark cherries, graphite. Barely medium bodied, but such good intensity to seamless and balanced palate. Spicy notes mingle with dark fruits. Good length too.

  • Screw cap. Double decanted back into the bottle. Consumed 2 hours later.
Light to medium garnet. Earthy aromas, with black berries and dried herbs. Savoury. Elegant and light to medium weight on the palate. Fine tannins now, almost all integrated. Good length. This bottle was very fine.

  • Screw cap. Decanted and served immediately. Mid garnet. Red and blue fruits sit amongst dried herbs and a touch of earth. The palate seems very youthful - bright, lifted, gently intense. Medium bodied. Carries the aromas well. Good finish. Balanced. This bottle would have had a good decade in it still, quite different from previous bottles.

  • Very earthy and complex wine. Not at all like typical Australian shiraz. In the perfect drinking range now but will cellar for some years to come.

  • PnP. Screwcap. Medium garnet. Fine sediment. Lovely floral aromas and red and blue fruits. This wine is singing. The medium weighted palate is still fresh and and reasonably high toned. The fine tannins carry the fruits and acids to a reasonably long finish. There are developed flavours here as well - leather and earth predominantly. It's clean, with no barnyard aromas or flavours detected. Drinking very well.
